Why should I blog this post? Well, today is my birthday, this reminds me that I'm lucky to be alive, not a bad thing isn't it. For the past 2 days I was watching this japanese drama series that my friend recommended to me. It really is a touching true story.
I’m watching is called 1 Litre of Tears/Ichi Ritoru no Namida. Its about a 15 year old gal named Ikeuchi Aya which have a terrible disease - spinocerebellar degeneration (SCD). Where the brain gradually deteriorates until the victim was unable to walk, speak and bed-ridden till deathand was able to continue her life until her death at the age of 25 years old.
This drama series is based on the true story a Japanese girl named Kito Aya, who had the same disease. She kept writing in her diary to remember her experiences until she could no longer hold a pen. Aya simply wished to live until the end of her life, and the purpose of writing in the diary was to remind herself to not give up. She shed tears many times, at the same time encompassed by the rich love and support from her family, friends, and boyfriend. Her diary “1 Litre of Tears” was published after her death, because of its inspiring and courageous message of, “Just being alive is such a lovely and wonderful thing.” So far, over 18,000,000 copies of her diary have been sold.
I cry throughout the whole 11 episodes and really that hit me is what is the purpose of begin alive. So what is my purpose of begin alive? Been thinking alot...still thinking...but one day I will know my calling purpose if begin alive. Just as her, thru her phases she wrote touches everyone.

" What's wrong with falling down? Because as long as I stand up again it'll be just fine. If you look up at the sky after falling down. The blue sky is also today, stretching limitlessly and smiles at me...I'm alive. "
" Everyone feels pain. But surely after suffering, satisfaction will arrive. Even with sport, studying or other ordeals. With life, it's like that for everyone. If we can beat the pain, on the other side, a rainbow of happiness awaits us. That will definitely becomes a treasure. Let's believe in that. "
