National Education

Well... Its been a few years ago that I still remember when I attend the National Education in my poly times. Currently, just happen that my POC course have this course module insert. So on thur and fri, went to Bukit Merah at Spring Building and attend it.

The lessons consist alot of the past Singapore history that had gone through and how we overcome it. It also have indicate the challenges we are going to face. After the whole 2 days lessons, have alot of thoughts that every individual have its part to play in the role as a Singaporean. Especially facing the challenges in the upcoming years ahead. I know that it is impossible to let everyone to be know their part, but if those have chance to attend the course, they will feel the same as I did. Been the sense of belonging in Singapore. Thats all...

Anyway, during this course I also visited the URA whereby we have a tour on the Singapore City Gallery. It is an exhibition done by the URA where, tourist and Singaporeans can go there visit. It really test how well you know about Singapore's land use, heritage, nature reserves and other intriguing facts in a fun, interactive quiz show hosted by Gurmit Singh. Will be very shock to hear the answers. I also put my hand at the various planning tools for urban design at the Planners' Table. There are also a wall for us to read about people's wants and wishes for their ideal city. Beside these, there are more information that what's coming up next, what can Singapore be 40 years into the 21st Century. With more than 30 hands-on interractive exhibits, a visit promises to be an enjoyable self-discovery. Do come to visit together with friends.
