Donating Blood

Well...the past 2 days, I've been doing some volunteering work which distribution of leaflets at the Orchard MRT station. It was kinda new experience that i have never done before.

During the distribution, I happen to meet alot of my friends and colleagues. But the most happening was that together with my other volunteer friend - Melvin as he dress up the mascot - our blood buddy...it is kinda funny as we took train all the way to Orchard and alot of people were laughing and astonish by the act...but we have no choice coz we dun have any transport so the only way is to take public transport...also some kinda of publicity ba! heehee

Feel been a star as people keep takig picture on us...whahaha but was a nice experience...will try more on that...whahaha

The Curse of the Golden Flower

Okie...Last Thur, went to watch movie with my sis and bro-in-law. We have a hard time to think which to choose either The Curse of the Golden Flower or A night in the Muesum. So after a long time of discussion. Finally we chose The Curse of the Golden Flower.

Well...was abit disappointed coz the story line was not very good and the acting also so so only. Just only the part where the whole assassins came to the picture and the plot of the movie started...the rest just can buang liao...whahaha...

P.S Can forget it to watch it...if you want to watch "neh neh" :P

Youth Donor Club Camp

Recently, I have been too busy helping out for the YDC Camp for the logistic and also a trainer for welcome newly members that have join.

The camp was held on the 8th to 10th Dec. However due to my course, I am able to help out on the 8th evening, which i miss my Basic CFA. Anyway hoping to get my CFA next year so that I'm a fully trained First-aided. Heehee

The camp was located at the MOE Adventure Camp site near Tanah Merah. But the main thing need to highlight is that you cannot have a proper sleep coz..."THE PLANES KEEP FLYING PAST" and the "NOISE ARE IRRITATE" whahaha...

Well, the camp was fun and get to know lot of new members and hope that they can be more active on the upcoming activities and try to help out some volunteering works that the Red Cross Blood Donation Programme as mainly our target is to recruit members to donate blood and retain them.

Well...thats all!

Share Of Joy

Well, today done something very meaningful event. Actually today my training institute organised an event for the whole school of trainees to do some community work.

We went to an elderly home at Changi called Peacehaven where it is under part of the salvation army. Our mission today is to bring some of the elderly to the zoo and also help them to clean up the home and make some festive season decorations as Chirstmas is coming.

For me, I was put to incharge one of the elderly as to bring her along to the zoo. I felt so worth to help out in this event as it really can bring some joy for them as most of the old folks, they seldom have the chance to go out. As this is the opportuntiy to let them enjoy the outside scenery. Some of the elderly hardly go out and some even didn't have the chance of visiting the zoo when they are young so I really thank God for giving this ocassion for them. Can really see them smiling and smiling. They are so happy to go to the zoo and some of them are so eager to go as they wanted to put their wheelchair towards the bus by themselves.

Beside it, some of us are require to stay at the home to do some cleaning up and help to do decorations and really it brings out the happiness of the season. Anyway, today really touch my heart as doing community work really brings happiness to someone and also yourself. Its been a long time i didn't do such communtiy work to serve the elderly as I now more active on the younger and youth and 3rd world countries. Maybe I should consider somemore community work for the coming new year resolutions as part of it.
