Australia Vacation Part III

Well, due to work for the past whole week now I am able to continue to blog my final part of it. Here it goes:

17th Jul 06 Mon
Well, didn't catch much sleep coz reach home around 1plus in the morning. After unpack everything and bathe...Its around 3am liao...so hurry catch some sleep as morning got alot of fun things to do. Wake up around 7plus, wake my sis and boil water for her...Like maid sia. Haha...
After much of this, we first went to HSA (Health Services Australia) not Singapore HSA. Coz my sis need to extend her VISA as to continue her Post-graduate. A medical checkup in order to extend her VISA. We waited quite long and by the time we finish is almost 12noon liao. So we hurry down to the Sydney Fish Market for fresh seafoods...yum yum...

Lobsters...

Oysters...

Inside The Sydney Fish Market

A chop-stick cheater...hmm reminds of me that someone need it...

Upon arrived at there, we source all the seafoods and really it is cheap sia...we got sashimi, fresh oysters, seafood platter, fresh prawns and lobster. Think of that really makes me mouth-watering now. Anyway, after purchase all foods, we went to outside to eat and enjoy the scenery, but the damn seagulls really are noisy and keep disturbing us as they are aiming our food...so have to keep a look out on them...

Yummy...Cooked Seafoods

Guess what is this? Its a eletronic pager to collect food once it is done. So you no need to wait at the counter.

Soon after the lunch, we headed down to Parramatta where there are alot of duty free shops. We went to Adidas factory outlet, Nike factory outlet and also DFO (Duty-free Factory Outlets). At there, I got myself a Puma jacket, a Adidias Sweater, a Nike Tee, Adidas water-bottles and visit alot of factory outlets like Billabong, Puma, Nautical, Polo and etc...all selling cheaper than Singapore and most of all, it some designs you cannot find in Singapore...Oops forgot to help my sis to check on the Puma jacket price in Singapore...Maybe one day go to Marina Square to check the price. Heehee

Resting at a couch inside DFO

We spent there quite a long time shopping and after that we went down to Circular Quay and again take photos on the Sydney Harbour Bridge and Opera House but we ended up late and the sky is dark again as we cannot beat the traffic. We also have our dinner at the Chinatown food court. A very simple dinner. Anyway after that we went to the Star City, where by the casino is located. We went in and have a look. I didn't gamble but just went to one bacarrat table to see how...Guess what, if I bet...I should have won 3 consecutive as my guessing was right...and the min bet is A$25...wow...so if i play sure will win around A$150? Anyway...better dun gamble...just have a look can liao...

Taking any ferry?

After that, we went back early to rest as tomorrow we going to Katoomba where the Blue mountains and 3 Sisters are there.

18th Jul 06 Tue
Again woke up early and its been me boiling the water for my sis...haha really like maid. Anyway, today really quite happy as we are going to look at the 3 sisters and blue mountain...first time so excited. So we travel about 1 1/2hrs of car ride to Katoomba. Quite a long journey.

Once reach there, I was abit disappointed by the weather coz I didn't manage to grab the blue mountain scenery...but Thank God! The weather turns fine...so we took some photos and then headed down to the 3 sisters and we also went to the cave...haha. The journey down to the 3 sisters are really steep sia...I was panting like hell when climbing back up...espeically the air is so thin...

Due to weather no blue mountain with 3 Sisters

Yeah...Finally Blue mountain n 3 sisters...ain't the mountains are blue?

Anyway we also visit the gift shop and I got myself a didgeridoo, an australian native instrument...now figuring our how to blow the sound just like the reality game - Surviour...haha

After that, we headed down to Scenic World where is also quite near. Actually think of that really waste of A$16 for the train and cable ride...but took the steepest train down to the valley and walk thru the rainforest and have a look on the coal mine but now abandon liao. After that we took the cable car back to Scenic world. Almost 1/2hr finish the journey, but if really got chance to go...will walk to the ruins castle but may take up 2hrs of walking. Heehee...

After the fun, we hop in the car and back to the city...now we again go to Circular Quay and hoping that we can get some daylight photos on the Sydney Harbour Bridge and Opera House. Luck is on our side and we manage to beat the heavy traffic and got some photos taken and rush down to King's Cross for Dinner. Anyway reach there around 6pm, and found out that the Japanese restraunt is yet to open for business so we hang around at the King's Cross. This place actually is a red-light distict in Sydney...Alot of prostitution and gambling house and strip dance club are located here. Didn't manage to take some photos...coz abit scare later kena K by people. Haha...

Well, after visiting...we went to the Japanese restraunt and have our Hot pot...we order 2 big hot pots sia...thinking of this really makes my drool again...especially the soup based...nice...but really 5 people eating, thats alot...i almost brust sia...haha

After that, we headed back home and get all the photos upload into my ipod nano...we total using 3 digital cameras and guess, we used up 2.5Gbytes for around 1000 photos and some more still got short clips that I took it...maybe will upload it.

Anyway tml going to fly back to Singapore. Guess really going to miss the place for a long time. Hopefully can go again...wish that next time can someone accompany me to take the flight.
